08.01 Name event:
The official name of the event is European Veteran Rollerhockey Invitational Cup. The shortening of the official event name is : EVRICUP.
08.02 Mision European Veteran Rollerhockey Invitational Cup.
The mission is promotion for the international veteran rollerhockey community in the categories 35+ and 50+ and give an international and general contribution to development the kind of sport roller hockey all over Europe.

08.04 Actual information about the EVRICup circuit
The I.E.C. starts since 2009 a website with actual information about the EVRICup circuit.
Following the former website www.evri-cup.com, all general information about the event is published from January 2018 onwards on the General Facebook page of the EVRICup (www.facebook.com/Evricup
08.05 EVRICup editions
There is one edition each year. A edition can be held in the spring or autumn of each year. The event will take place on the days Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday (total 4 competition days). The event could possibly start on Tuesday with games for participating teams that are located close by the location of the EVRICup edition.
The maximum participating teams in the 35+ category is 16 teams (depending on accommodations and timeframe possibilities) in 4 groups (groups colors red, blue, green and yellow) and the maximum participating teams in the 50+ category is 16 teams (depending on accommodations and timeframe possibilities) in 4 groups (orange, purple, white and black). If the Organizing Club is able to accommodate more teams, more teams can be invited, following the list in 8.25.
08.06 Culture moment
A special moment for the participators is the culture moment in the area (city or region) of the EVRICup edition. Organization at a moment during the edition of the culture moment is in hands of the organization committee of that present EVRICup edition.
08.07 Delegates meeting:
Due the strong growth of the event, good agreements and rules become necessary. Maintain both the agreements and the rules, each year a Delegates Meeting will be held before or shortly after the start of each EVRICup edition. This meeting is preferably held on the Wednesday of the event from 14.00 -15.30 hours and is managed by the I.E.C. During the meeting all participants can submit proposals and questions and the latest concept of this EVRIrules are discussed and validated. The official language is English. The organization committee provides a (conference)room for this meeting (at last 30 seats). The secretary of the I.E.C sends a concept agenda one week before the meeting by e-mail to the contact persons. The maximum invitation is limited to 2 delegates of each 35+ or 50+ team.
08.08 Rules of participating for the teams
For the category 35+, the players have to be 35 years or older at the first competition day of the edition they participate in. For the category 50+, the players have to be 50 years or older at the first competition day of the edition they participate in.
The players of a 35+ team or 50+ team (where they participate), are not allowed to play competition in another 35+ or 50+ team. (example: when you play for team X 35 +, then it’s not allowed to play in team Y of 35+. Same rule for the players of the 50+ competition. When you play for a 50+ team your are not allowed to play in 35+ team when you already participate in the 50+ competition).
Summarized: A player/ goalie can only play for 1 team (only the I.E.C. can give dispensation by special conditions
During the delegates meeting on Wednesday the I.E.C. receives the players list of the delegates and before the first game each team (35+ and 50+) there is a passport/identity control on the rinck. The following procudure applies: 1. 15 minutes before the start of their first game collects the 35 + team (players and team manager) at the I.E.C. verification table and the team members makes a I.E.C. line up; 2. a I.E.C. member takes a picture of the team members; 3. the team manager provides a line up format and give the I.E.C. the passports/ID’s and associated of the team; 4. the team manager calls from left to right, the names of the players and the I.E.C. member checks out the Passport/ID and mark the player on the line up format. 5. the team consisting of these players which have been proposed by the team manager shall be entitled to participate in the competition of the EVRICup.
08.09 The rollerhockey accommodation
The European Veteran Rollerhockey Invitational Cup edition must be held in a international (covered) rollerhockey acommodation near (<100 km) a international airport.
08.10 Rules of the game
The EVRICup competitions 35+ and 50+ follow the genral rules of the game Rink-Hockey. These rules of the game must have been approved in the General Assembly of the CIRH. A set of these rules have to be available during the Event.
08.11 Referees
The status of the referees must be a national federation quality. In all the games at last 2 referees, on the final day games 3 referees (1 referee for the team errors). The referees used the International Rinck-Hockey Refereeing Manuel 2009, a document prepared by CERH’s technical Commission in cooperation with CIA/CIRH.
08.12 Adresses delegates
The secretary of the I.E.C. have the most recent list of address of the delegates of the participators in the EVRICup circuit. You can request the secretary of the I.E.C. to send the most update version.
08.13 Responsibity
The I.E.C. nore the organization committee of the present EVRICup edition can accept any liability for damage and/or costs.
08.14 Contribution participating teams
The present EVRICup organization committee can ask a financial contribution from the participating teams to meet the event budget: the maximum contribution is € 250,- for each team (12 players and delegates).
The present Teams pay a separate contribution of € 7,50 for each team for the yearly license and maintenance of the website of the I.E.C. . The Organization will transfer this amount to the webmaster of the EVRI-CUP website!
Payment arrangement enrollment fee:
- time 0: a team is invited by the organization committee to participate in an edition of the EVRICup;
- time 0 plus 4 weeks : is the outward date of a written confirmation of the invited team;
- time 0 plus 6 weeks : is the outward date that the registration fee must be paid into the financial account number as given by the organization committee and as approved by the I.E.C.
If a team withdraws 8 to 5 weeks before the start of the event, 50% of the entry fees received will be returned.
If a team withdraws 4 to 0 weeks before the start of the event, 0% of the entry fees received will be returned.
A EVRICup edition may not be a profitable financial event. If the final financial statement indicates that profit is created, the organization committee has to donate this amount to the youth roller hockey department of the club which has organized the relevant EVRICup edition. 3 months after the end of the event, the organization committee has to disclose the amount and the way of spending to the I.E.C. on request of the I.E.C. The result will be communicated via the general Facebookpage of the EVRICup and the new website :
08.15 Participating teams groups
Category 35+
16 teams of 35+ compete for the championship and are divided in four groups.
Group 35+ Red : - Team A, number 1 latest edition; - Team B, number 8 latest edition; - Team C, number 12 latest edition; - Team D, number 16 latest edition.
Group 35+ Blue : - Team A, number 2 latest edition; - Team B, number 7 latest edition; - Team C, number 11 latest edition; - Team D, number 15 latest edition.
Group 35+ Green : - Team A, number 3 latest edition; - Team B, number 6 latest edition; - Team C, number 10 latest edition; - Team D, number 14 latest edition.
Group 35+ Yellow : -Team A, number 4 latest edition; - Team B, number 5 latest edition; - Team C, number 9 latest edition; - Team D, number 13 latest edition.
Winners of each group will play semifinal and final with direct elimination (1th to 4th place). Second ranking from each group will play semifinal and final with direct elimination (5th to 8th place). Third ranking of each group will play semifinal and final with direct elimination (9th to 12th place). Fourth ranking from each group will play semifinal with direct elimination (13th to 16th place). Each 35+ team will play five matches.

In case of 16 teams participating:
16 teams of 50+ compete for the championship and are divided in four groups:
Group 50+ Orange : - Team A, number 1 latest edition; - Team B, number 5 latest edition; - Team C, number 9 latest edition; - Team D, number 13 latest edition
Group 50+ Black : - Team A, number 2 latest edition; - Team B, number 6 latest edition; - Team C, number 10 latest edition; - Team D, number 14 latest edition
Group 50+ Purple : - Team A, number 3 latest edition; - Team B, number 7 latest edition; - Team C, number 11 latest edition; - Team D, number 15 latest edition
Group 50+ Blue : - Team A, number 4 latest edition; - Team B, number 8 latest edition; - Team C, number 12 latest edition; - Team D, number 16 latest edition
Winners of Orange and Black play cross finals against the Second Ranks of Purple and Light Blue. Winners of Purple and Light Blue play cross finals against the Second Ranks of Orange and Black. The four Winners of these matches will compete (by lottery) in two semifinals to determine the final match for places 1 and 2 and the final match for places 3 and 4.
The losers of the four cross finals play two semifinals (by lottery). The winners will compete in a match for places 5 and 6. The losers will compete in a match for places 7 and 8.
Each 50+ team will play minimal four games.
Different number of teams
In Case of a different number of participating teams in 35+ and/of 50+, the Organization Committee will try to follow the aforementioned
08.16 Schedule time reservation (concept... under investigation)
Tuesday
Teams arriving during the day and evening. Culture time for all participators.
Wednesday
13:00 hour - Latest arrival time participators on the location of the organization committee EVRICup edition
13:00 – 14:00 hour - Delegates meeting I.E.C. and organization committee EVRICup edition.
15:00 – 22:30 hour - Hockeytime (the games).
Thursday
09.00 – 22.30 hour - Hockeytime (the games).
Friday
09.00 – 22.30 hour - Hockeytime (the games).
Saturday
09.00 – 20.00 hour - Hockeytime (the games).
21.00 – 24.00 hour - Traditional EVRICup dinner and closing ceremony.
08.17 Maximum matches pro day
Each team plays no more than 2 games a day. When it is necessary to play 3 games a day, there will be two hours rest between the games.
08.18 First medical aid
It's necessary to have a first medical aid and a AED equipment in the arena during all the games.
08.19 Communication
There are at least 3 communication moments of the present organization committee with the participators of the next EVRICup edition:
1th moment, 6 months before the next EVRICup edition. The present organization committee send a official invitation to the participators
2th moment, 5 months before the next EVRICup edition. The present organization committee send the definitive list of the participators and possibilities for hotel reservations in the area of the next EVRICup edition. The participators can organize at this moment there own trip to the next EVRICup edition location (reserve flight tickets etc.).
3th moment, 4 months before the next EVRICup edition. The present organization committee starts a EVRICup edition website with all latest information about the next EVRICup edition. If the organization committee not have possibilities to have a own website they can used a item on the official general website of the EVRICup (www.evri-cup.com).
08.20 Promotion EVRICup edition
There are at least the following promotion possibilities (promotion rollerhockey):
1th possibility, EVRICup website and/or Social Media page (Facebook etc)
An own EVRICup edition website and/or Social media Page with all latest information about the next EVRICup edition.
2th possibility, Editionposter
An own EVRICup edition poster with the official EVRICup logo.
3th possibility, Articles in or at local newsmedia
The organization committee must try to accommodate at least one mediaevent before and one after the event in or at the most important local newsmedia.
4th possibility, Websites
A publication on the website of the I.E.C. (www.evri-cup.com) and/or Social media platforms of the organizing club and a publication on the website and/or Social media platforms of the national rollerhockey federation.
5th possibility, Country flags
Nation flags of the participating teams in the sports hall.
6th possibility, Music and voice accompaniment
After the qualification games and during the finals there must be musical accompaniment in the arena before the games, between the games and between each part of the games. Before the games a voice accompaniment (line ups etc.) and during the games for the goalscores.
08.21 Merchandising
The organization committee has the right to sell EVRICup materials during the tournament days in order that the financial benefits comes to the financing of the during EVRICup edition.
08.22 The EVRICup logo
The organization committee can used the EVRICup logo for the during edition. The colors of the logo must be relevant to the colors of the flag of the country where the EVRICup edition is organized.
08.23 EVRICup international calendar 2018-2021
The I.E.C. has accepted the international bids for the next EVRICup editions in the years:
2018 - Viana do Castelo - Portugal
2019 - Girona - Spain
2020 - Bassano - Italy
2021 - Nantes (France) or Pacos de Arcos (Portugal) ??? t.b.d.
08.24 Team invitation next EVRICup edition
The teams will be invited by the present EVRICup organization committee with the following procedure:
1. The 1th and 2th invitation is for the own veteran teams in the 35+ and 50+ category of the organization committee;
2. The 3th, 4th, 5th and 6th invitation is for veteran teams in the 35+ and 50+ category of the countries Andorra and France;
3. The 7th and 8th invitation is for the previous winners of the EVRICup edition in the 35+ and 50+ category;
4. The 9th until the 19th invitation is for the veteran teams in the 35+ at the ranking 35+ (see EVRICup rules point 08.25);
5. The 20th until the 24th invitation is for the veteranteams in the 50+ at the ranking 50+ (see EVRICup rules point 08.25).
If no attendees can respond to the invitation, the successor teams from the ranking are invited. The final participants lists of the 35 + and 50 + categories should as much as possible represent the 10 European rollerhockey countries.

Every participation at a EVRICup edition gets 1 ranking point. The ranking points prescribes the determine of the invitation for the next EVRICup edition.
